Citing the SusztakLab Biobank
Citations are how a shared resource stays funded and maintained. If these data helped your work, please cite both the paper the data come from and this site.
In a manuscript
Cite the source publication shown on the resource card (every card has a Cite line and a "Copy citation" button), and add the site as a data source, for example:
Kidney eQTL data were obtained from the SusztakLab Biobank (Susztak Laboratory, University of Pennsylvania; https://susztaklab.com; accessed 20 September 2026) and were originally reported in Liu et al., Nature Genetics 2022.
In a talk or poster
Show the paper reference and the address susztaklab.com on the slide where the data appear.
Before you publish
The data use agreement asks that you contact Dr. Susztak before publishing results derived from the Data. In practice this is a short e-mail; we answer quickly and we are often glad to help interpret the data.
Resource identifiers
Persistent identifiers (DOIs) for the individual resources are being registered; until they appear on the cards, cite the paper and the site address as above.
